Arthur KennedysArthur Kennedys

On the cliff above the site sits an impressive house lived in by a member of the Kennedy family. Under the water this is a site of breathtaking cliffs, overhangs, walls and volcanic scenery. A great place to dive a little deeper, but the volcanic scenery is great shallow too.

Agua Caliente

Agua CalienteThe active fault line running down the hillside and under the lake creates areas or thermal activity. Plunge you hands into the silt to feel the boiling hot temperatures from below. The hotspots are also a favorite of the fish, making this a great site to see the elusive cichlid and a busy location during spawning season.

Rambo IIRambo II

A more advanced wall dive with a vertical swim through. Starting at 22m this chimney type space is only big enough for one diver at a time. Go through it, and emerge at the other end at 15m. Then continue up past volcanic formations and walls, plants fish and crabs.

Isla Verde

Isla VerdeA site of great variety. Start in the tule reeds looking for the bass, before moving onto find the freshwater plants that hang from the volcanic rock. Here you will find fish and crabs that live amongst them. End the dive on a dramatic volcanic wall that descents to 40m below you. Explore the recesses and holes to find more crabs.

Punta de LomaPunta De Loma

This dive starts on one side of the point amongst the plants and and ends on the other in the great volcanic scenery. In between drop down to 20 meters and look for big crabs under the giant volcanic boulders. See places where fish lay their eggs, and perhaps more cichlids.

Punta CalientePunta Caliente

A lovely bay with some of the best volcanic formations. Pyramid shaped rocks and points that extend deep down into the lake. You can go down more than 20m here, but it is interesting at any depth.
