PADI Divemaster - $750

Become a PADI Divemaster and enter the professional levels of recreational scuba. Expand your dive knowledge, hone your diving skills to a professional level, develop your leadership abilities, and earn yourself a qualification that allows you to work all over the world.

During the course you will learn your Divemaster skills through a combination of independent study, classroom sessions, water skills and stamina exercises, and lots of practical in-water training.

ATI Divers Divemaster Internship

Our Divemaster internship will give you the best possible preparation for working as a Divemaster. You will be mentored by one of our Instructors. Each day you will dive with them and our customers, working along side them, assist them and learning from them.

At the same time you will be studying from your PADI materials the Divemaster Manual, Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving, PADI Instructor Manual, and PADI Divemaster Video as well as classroom sessions with your instructor. When ready you put into practice the knowledge you are learning through a combination of practical workshops, exercises and real scenarios.

You will give dive briefings, assist our Instructors as they teach Open Water, Advanced or Rescue courses, conduct Scuba Reviews, Discover Scuba Diving and Skin Diving programs and lead certified divers on dives.

During your stay here, you will see and experience all aspects of working as a Divemaster, from meeting customers and making sales, to learning compressor operation and equipment maintenance, to perhaps doing something a little different like a cleanup dive, doing some underwater photography or a helping out on an environmental project. You will also map a dive site, practice search and recovery techniques, and deep diving skills.

Why choose Ati Divers for your Divemaster Course?

You will be working along side our instructors as they take our customers diving. The exercises and practical training you do will be conducted on these real customers (always under our close supervision). It is this real experience which is invaluable to help you learn. Real situations are a much better way to gain the experience you will need to be a Divemaster. You will not find yourself involved in unrealistic artificial scenarios using other candidates during your training.

As a small dive centre we are able to offer you very attentive Divemaster training. The opportunities for experience will not be shared amongst a group of candidates, you will receive our full attention.

Our courses are not done in 8 days or two weeks. We will not rush you through once you have completed the bare minimum. We will allow you the time to complete all the aspects of the course thoroughly, and to a level which allows you to confidently seek work anywhere in the world.
